Assistant Principal - Danielle Monroe

Hello Emile Cubs!

My name is Danielle Monroe, and I am honored to join the Emile Elementary family as an Assistant Principal. I bring 12 years of experience in education and am excited to partner with students, staff, and families to support a positive and successful learning environment.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Carolina, and later completed my Principal Certification through Lamar University. Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of educational roles, including classroom teacher, instructional specialist, and assistant principal. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to student success, instructional excellence, and collaborative leadership.  As an educational leader, I am passionate about creating safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments where every child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

My husband and I, along with our daughters, are excited to become part of the Bastrop community. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and being outdoors.

I look forward to building strong relationships with our students, families, and staff as we work together to make Emile Elementary a place where every child can learn, grow, and succeed.
