My name is Samantha Lewis, and I am honored to continue serving the Emile Elementary community as an Assistant Principal this school year. Prior to joining Emile, I spent several years as an elementary teacher and also worked as a college lacrosse coach. These experiences helped shape my commitment to student success, educational excellence, and collaborative leadership.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Redlands in California. I am passionate about supporting students, staff, and families while fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

My husband, Cole, and I recently welcomed our first baby to our family, joining our two dogs and two cats at home. We are grateful to be part of the Bastrop community and are enjoying this exciting new chapter together. I look forward to another wonderful year partnering with our students, families, and staff to make Emile Elementary a place where every child can learn, grow, and thrive!
